Embracing Upcycled Materials in Design

I’ve been experimenting with upcycled materials in my latest furniture pieces, and it’s been such a rewarding challenge. For instance, I just transformed old wooden pallets into a stunning coffee table that not only looks great but also tells a story of sustainability. I’d love to hear how others are incorporating eco-friendly materials in their designs.

That coffee table sounds amazing! I recently made a bookshelf from reclaimed wood pallets too, and I couldn’t believe how much character it added to my space. I found that using a simple orbital sander really helps smooth out rough edges while keeping that rustic vibe. Have you thought about trying any unexpected materials like old pipes for legs?

And i’ve used old barn wood for shelves, and it’s amazing how much history it adds. Did you use any special tools for your coffee table?.
